Recent Promotion at CBE

CBE, one of Europe’s leading EPoS (Electronic Point of Sale) providers, has announced a key promotion within its ranks, reflecting the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

Barry Concannon has been appointed as Cloud Monitoring Manager. A native of Kilconly, County Galway, Barry holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), & Information Systems Mgmt [Level 8] from GMIT Galway [ATU]. Since joining CBE in September 2016, Barry has served as a Field Service Engineer, Systems Executive, and Cloud Support Lead.

The appointment underscores CBE’s dedication to fostering talent and driving forward its mission to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions. Headquartered in Claremorris, Co. Mayo, CBE was founded by Gerard Concannon and his wife Catherine in 1980. The company has grown to become a major player in the Retail & Hospitality technology sector, employing over 250 people and operating in 14 countries.
