Company Charity
At CBE, supporting our communities has always been an important part of who we are. We are proud to support many local and national charities, organisations, and sports clubs on an ongoing basis, helping to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals, families, and communities across Ireland and beyond.
2025
2025
In 2025, CBE chose to support two very worthy charities through fundraising at its 45th Annual Convention & Awards Ceremony. We are proud to announce that a total of €13,500 was raised for charity, with funds split equally between two vital local children’s charities — Mayo Autism Camp and Cancer Fund for Children’s Daisy Lodge. Each organisation received €6,750.
In the lead-up to the Convention, CBE staff members generously contributed through a dedicated GoFundMe campaign. Demonstrating our continued commitment to social responsibility, CBE matched the full amount raised by staff, penny for penny, effectively doubling the impact of the donations.
Both selected charities provide essential services to children and families across the region. Mayo Autism Camp offers inclusive, supportive experiences for children with autism, while Cancer Fund for Children’s Daisy Lodge provides therapeutic short breaks for children affected by cancer and their families.
PROTECT The Children of Kenya
PROTECT The Children of Kenya
This fundraising also reflects CBE’s long-standing commitment to charitable causes. Up until 2025, CBE’s corporate charity was Protect the Children of Kenya, founded by Claremorris native Janet Hinchion, supporting vulnerable children through education, healthcare, and community development.
