CBE were delighted to receive the Product of the Show award at the recent Food & Hospitality (FHI) trade show in Citywest, Dublin.
FHI is an annual event aimed at the retail and hospitality sectors. Visitors included large retailers, convenience stores, independent operators, wholesalers, distributors, hotel management, café owners, restaurateurs and contract caterers.

A ‘Product of the Show’ section was introduced to recognise innovation and new product developments within the retail and hospitality industry. CBE’s cutting edge Mobile POS (MPOS) solution won the award as the judges felt it brought a new dimension to the point of sale area and provided retailers with maximum flexibility when deploying additional POS checkouts at peak periods.

Commenting on the award, John Henry, CBE’s Sales Director, explained “we are continuously looking for new and innovative ways to help our customers attain greater flexibility in running their business. We feel that our Mobile POS unit will enable retailers to easily cope with peak period sales with minimum additional costs to their operations.”
