Well done to our colleague Kieran Heneghan and the 12 other Mayo cyclists who recently conquered the height of Mount Everest virtually by bike using the online app Zwift.

The gruelling task was completed by the 13 cyclists indoors while adhering to social distancing protocols. The recent fundraising initiative was in support of raising funds for the Croi Heart and Stroke Charity.

The bikes were connected to a direct drive turbo trainer to simulate the real thing. Starting at 5am the cycle took between 12 and 14 hours to complete. Congrats to all.
