Richie Feeney, CBE systems engineer, played a vital part in Mayo’s three point victory over Dublin in the All-Ireland football semi final at Croke Park yesterday.

Played in front of 81,364 spectators, Mayo beat a much-fancied Dublin team to secure their place in the All-Ireland final for the first time since 2006.

Mayo held a considerable lead at half time – 0-12 to 0-6 – and moved ten points clear midway through the second half aided by a point from Richie Feeney. Although Dublin did stage a late rally Mayo held on to book their place in the final against Donegal on Sunday the 23^rd of September.
