Irish Greyhound Board
The Irish Greyhound Board - Bord na gCon – is a commercial semi-state body responsible for the control and development of the greyhound industry in Ireland.
The Irish Greyhound Board has licensed seventeen tracks in the Republic of Ireland, nine of which are owned and controlled by the board. The remainder are owned and operated by private enterprise. There are a further two privately owned stadia in Northern Ireland.
Client Needs:
The client required an integrated solution to enable them to manage and control multiple sites from their head office in Limerick. The two main requirements were to manage gate receipts and control the hospitality business at each site.
CBE Solution:
CBE delivered on time and within budget a comprehensive solution for all the IGB-owned sites and Dundalk. The CBE solution included one hundred PoS touch screen terminals and over fifty hand held terminals.
