O’Donovan’s
O’Donovan’s operate one of the largest off-licence chains in the South of Ireland, with 15 stores in the Munster area. The business was set up by Joseph O’Donovan in the early 1960s and has been a longstanding CBE customer.
O’Donovan’s use the CBE Head Office system to manages their 15 stores centrally. This provides a massive advantage by enabling full inventory control from one location. O’Donovan’s operate a central warehouse from where they ship to each store.
Promotions may also be controlled centrally and sent to each store. All journals may be viewed centrally as well as reports for voids and exceptional transactions.
At the store level, the manager is responsible for cash balancing. There is an option to do ordering centrally or from each shop individually.
