Management Team

CBE is led by a dynamic team with extensive experience in all aspects of retail technology and systems. The team make-up offers a blend of seasoned managers that have shaped the company over three decades and more recent recruits that bring new knowledge from academic and other parts of the industry.



	Gerard Concannon, Chairman & CEO Gerard and his wife Catherine founded CBE in 1980. Gerard has spearheaded the company’s growth over three decades. He is a board member and former chairman of the Industry Research and Development Group, a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to assisting members and shaping policy in this area. He is also a member of the Marketing Institute.
	Sean Kenna, Managing Director Sean has spent most of his career to date at CBE where he has gained functional experience throughout the business. He has guided the company through various stages of growth, including expansion into new markets.
	Seamus Murray, Finance Director Seamus controls the finance function at CBE. He is also an executive director centrally involved in shaping the business strategy.
	Michael Cattigan, Group Service Director Michael’s background is in Electronic Engineering. He joined CBE in 1989 and has over 20 years experience in retail applications. He is the Quality Management Representative at CBE.
	Cathal Concannon, Inventory Control Director Cathal started his CBE career in sales and marketing, having joined the company in 1983. He manages inbound and outbound logistics for the complete range of products through the central warehouse.
	Dominic Feeney, Systems Director Dominic has vast experience in all aspects of Retail IT. With a Commerce and I.T. background, he started at CBE in 1993 and worked in various project and management roles before joining the board as Systems Director in 1999.
	James Forde, Development Director James’s background is in Commerce and Computer Science. He joined CBE in 1997 and has led new product development for over ten years.
	John Henry, Sales Director John joined CBE in 1986 and has extensive technical knowledge and sales experience in retail systems and software. He served as National Sales Manager before being promoted to Sales Director in 1998.
	Kathleen Joyce-Tierney, Business Administration Director Kathleen joined CBE in 1986 and oversees the administration of the company in Ireland and the UK.
	T J Mc Hugh, Director T J joined CBE in 1996 and has a background in Computer Science. TJ started in Customer Support Division and also worked in the Installation Unit. He became Customer Support Manager in 1999 and joined the board in 2006.
