Irish Greyhound Board

Irish Greyhound Board

IGB

The Irish Greyhound Board is responsible for the promotion and regulation of greyhound racing in Ireland. It is a semi-state body, and has licensed 17 tracks in Ireland, nine of which are owned and controlled by the board.

After a rigorous and competitive tender process, the board chose CBE to install over 100 POS terminals and 50 hand-held ordering terminals across their stadiums. They also opted for a head office package, which enables management to control information across all venues. This system provides instant access to reports and other important business performance information, as well as an impressive array of other features.

The Board was happy with our tailored service and complimented us on our system, which was, they said, customizable and could be adapted to meet their specific requirements.

Philip Peake, Sales Operations and Commercial Manger of Harold’s Cross Greyhound Stadium had the following to say about our service: “We use the CBE EPoS system at our various locations nationwide for both our food and beverage and turnstile operations… From the initial install and building of the system with the CBE technical team to the day-to-day operations and support, we have found CBE extremely helpful and efficient in dealing with all aspect of our system provided by people who are familiar with our business.”
